Marinated Flank Steak

Ingredients

Marinade

  • 1/3 cup canola oil

  • 1/3 cup cooking sherry

  • 1/3 cup soy sauce

  • 1 tsp. ground ginger

  • Powdered garlic

  • Flank steak

Instructions

  1. Tenderize flank steak with meat mallet.

  2. Sprinkle both sides generously with garlic powder.

  3. Place flank in plastic container with a lid.

  4. Mix oil, sherry, soy sauce, and ground ginger, and pour over flank steak. Cover and refrigerate over night. Turn meat occasionally in the 24 hour period.

  5. NOTE: Utilize 1 recipe of marinade per two pieces of flank steak.

Recipe Notes

Great for grilling! Yummy for fajita meat, too.
