Grilling: Easier Wings and Drums

I made wings recently while the kids were home for the holidays; it’s great football food! But time-consuming as well.

So, I decided to try a shortcut, and it worked great.

I placed all the wings and drums in a large, shallow baking pan. I covered them lightly in olive oil as well as salt and pepper, and baked them at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

Then my husband placed them on the grill for 15-20 minutes.

Our family likes “Stubbs Original” and “Sweet Baby Ray’s” for the sauce. One is spicy, and the other sweet. Instead of standing at the grill trying to baste every piece of chicken, my husband suggested dipping each piece of chicken in the sauce after they come off the grill. Great idea! And so easy.

So, I’m hooked. In at least half the time, the chicken was done and the kids were happy!

Cooking shortcuts are always a plus.
